Sacramento Kings Celebrate Win Streak with Letterpress Art

March 14th is Pi Day! Pi (3.1415926…) is the name given to the ratio of the circumference of a circle to the diameter. In honor of Pi Day, Howard letterpress printed “3.14” (pi) in 30 line pica (5 inches in length) wood type in the French Clarendon typeface. This wood type was made in the late 1880s by the Hamilton Wood Type Company.
