The Royal Air Force Air Cadets are heavily involved every year supporting The Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT), from making the 'Green Cone' road to marking out tent sites. With no RIAT, this year’s Virtual Air Tattoo gives the Air Cadets the chance to showcase their many other activities, of which learning to fly is just one. No 1 Squadron have been preparing for the start of Exercise Bersama Lima 16 by flying close combat sorties with the Royal Australian Air Force and the Royal Malaysian Air Force. Operating out of RMAF Butterworth, in Malaysia, No 1 Squadron have been flying the Typhoon Multi Role Aircraft.
