defective batches of UPONOR pex A are still out there. the Red and Blue tubing went through a heat treatment in order to get the color to adhere to the piping. That process actually compromised the tubings ability to remain flexible. When it is expanded it is prone to developing micro cracks. There’s an ongoing classs action lawsuit.
