Open cell foam in our walls looked perfect…until we opened it up because of our mold problem. The foam delaminated from the sheathing during install, leaving about 1 inch of foam and a 3 inch air gap you couldn’t see. That “invisible” void meant no real air seal. We ended up injecting every 6 inches on all exterior walls just to fill the space. So much rework because it wasn’t done right, or checked, at the start.
