Two hikers stranded on a steep cliff above Pelican Lake near Point Reyes were rescued with the assistance of a California Highway Patrol helicopter on Sunday, Jan. 4 just after dark. A paramedic was deployed to reach them, and both hikers were flown to safety and taken for treatment.
