This week we are working on balanced squats. EVERYTHING we do as a catcher starts from our squat. The quicker a catcher can get into and out of this squat, the better a catcher will be at all facets of the position. What you can't see is me with the ball. These catchers are reacting based off what I do with the ball. If I move it to the left or right, they frame based off which way I move it. If I bounce it, they block and drop.
