BREAKING NEWS: The ASPCA is assisting with the rescue of nearly 50 dogs in a suspected dogfighting case in Kansas. When we arrived at the scene, we found some dogs tethered down with chains and nearly all had scars littered across their bodies. We are currently providing medical care, collecting evidence and transporting the animals to a place where they can finally feel safe. 🚨 BREAKING NEWS 🚨 At the request of the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED), the ASPCA recently assisted with the removal of dogs and puppies from a property in Darlington County, S.C., with suspected connections to animal fighting. The pit bull-type dogs were found outside, without adequate access to water, some tethered to heavy chains and many had scarring and injuries consistent with dogfighting.
