We’re a few days out, but wanted to update you on another significant winter storm for early next week. Frigid air will combine with Gulf moisture, and widespread freezing rain, sleet, and snow is expected across the I-10 and I-20 corridors by early to mid-next week.

Forecasters warn that icy conditions, between a tenth and a quarter inch of ice, will make travel dangerous for many. Power outages and downed branches are also a concern.
