On Monday, a federal judge will hear arguments by lawyers for Louisiana parents seeking to block the law, which gives public schools and colleges until Jan. 1 to exhibit the Ten Commandments in every classroom. Those groups say the law, which Gov. Jeff Landry signed in June, unconstitutionally infringes on students’ religious freedom.
