The US will have to send more weapons to Ukraine because it is getting “hit very hard now”, Donald Trump has vowed in a major U-turn on military assistance, adding he was “not happy” with Vladimir Putin.

During a Cabinet meeting, President Trump answered a question on the war in Ukraine and told reporters, "We get a lot of bulls--- from Putin." The president also said he would consider further sanctions against Russia if the Senate passes legislation.
