Time is running out on Lando’s Norris’ Formula 1 title chase of Max Verstappen. The McLaren driver leaves Texas for the Mexico City Grand Prix further adrift from Verstappen after a disappointing United States Grand Prix weekend.

Max Verstappen delivered a savage response when asked about Lando Norris and McLaren’s complaints over the penalty at the United States Grand Prix. On Sunday, there was a controversial end to the US Grand Prix after a close battle involving reigning Formula 1 champion Verstappen and his closest challenger Norris.

Lando Norris was handed a five-second penalty on the final lap of the US Grand Prix which cost the McLaren driver a podium in Austin. Norris, who started on pole position, dropped down to fourth after the start where F1 title rival Max Verstappen blocked his path to turn one and eventual race winner Charles Leclerc took the lead.
