Fox Sports announced 11 games that will be featured as "America's Game of the Week" during the 2025 NFL regular season on Thursday.

The league announced the full 2025 preseason slate for all 32 teams on Wednesday. As is the custom, the Hall of Fame Game will serve as the curtain-raiser. The Detroit Lions and Los Angeles Chargers will face off on July 31 at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio.

In the early 1960s, when the NFL comprised 14 teams, crafting the league schedule wasn’t quite an art and certainly wasn’t yet a science. Dan Rooney, then an executive for the family-owned Pittsburgh Steelers, would lay out 14 dominoes, moving them around as he scribbled out a weekly lineup of potential matchups.
