Mandatory evacuations were ordered for the Sunset Fire, which was estimated at 10 acres. The evacuation zone is for Laurel Canyon Boulevard on the west; to Mulholland Drive on the north; to the 101 Freeway on the east; and down to Hollywood Boulevard on the south.

The Los Angeles Fire Department has fully contained the Sunset Fire in the Hollywood Hills, city officials said.

The new blaze lit up near Runyon Canyon, which is in the vicinity of iconic Los Angeles locations and tourist destinations. No homes were said to be damaged.
