Ferrari have been tipped to run with a "more extreme" livery for the F1 2025 season following Lewis Hamilton's arrival from Mercedes.

Max Verstappen has suffered a blow in comparison to his Formula 1 rival Lewis Hamilton following his Ferrari signing. Verstappen and Hamilton are the two names that have dominated the sport and the drivers' championship in recent history, with the pair having claimed an astonishing 10 of the last 11 titles.

The first time Hamilton dons the famous red Ferrari colors and gets behind the wheel of one of its F1 cars will be the moment he has longed for throughout his career. It is also set to be a relatively low-key event.

According to a report from Autosport, Hamilton will enjoy his first on-track action for Ferrari on January 20th or 21st. Fred Vasseur’s team reportedly plan to use their entire 1,000km TPC allocation on their new recruit in January, giving the 39-year-old the best possible start to life in Maranello.

Hamilton's mission is to win a world championship in his 40s, something that has not been done since Jack Brabham back in 1966, and has also only been done once since the great Juan Manuel Fangio became the oldest ever world champion with Maserati at the age of 46 in 1957.
