On Sunday, Miami Heat forward Kevin Love announced the sad passing of his father, the former NBA forward Stan Love, at age 76. Kevin Love had been away from the Heat since late March for personal reasons, but returned to the team on Monday for the Game 4 matchup against the Cavaliers.

Miami Heat forward Kevin Love penned a thoughtful tribute after the death of his father Stan. After Love, 36, missed the Heat's playoff loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday for "personal reasons," he shared a lengthy post on social media in honor of his dad on Sunday, April 27.

"I will cherish our lives spent together, whether spoofing on each other or reliving memories," Mike Love wrote on Instagram.
