The Los Angeles Clippers likely don't have a chance at landing Kevin Durant after a rumor surfaced about what another team has already offered the Phoenix Suns.

The Phoenix Suns are reportedly getting closer to having a trade in place for veteran star Kevin Durant, albeit with a number of teams still in the running to secure his services.

Durant reportedly has a wishlist (the Spurs, Rockets and Heat reportedly are on it), and with his expiring contract, he has a bit of leverage to get the deal he wants. But he is 37, not 27, and the threat of him passing on a lucrative two-year extension doesn't hold quite the same weight it once would.
