Drivers can now cross the Loxahatchee River with one lane of traffic open in each direction—just in time for the new year.

Jupiter's U.S. 1 bridge may partially open soon, with one lane each way, improving local traffic flow after a near two-year closure.

After 21 months, the Jupiter bridge is partially opened allowing one lane of traffic in both directions and a sidewalk for people to cross over.

The bridge reopened ahead of schedule as it happened just before the New Year and the phase of construction wasn't expected to wrap up until early 2025.
