The Horizon League suspended Oakland basketball coach Greg Kampe for one game due to engaging with an official in an unacceptable way that violated league regulations after a loss to Robert Morris.

Kampe, 69, is in his 41st season as head coach at Oakland, and this marks his second suspension. He also drew a one-game ban following a fight between his team and Chicago State's team after a game in 2000. That fight began with a war of words between Kampe and then-Chicago State coach Bo Ellis, the former Marquette star, in the handshake line.
