CBS News Atlanta is tracking the chance for some snow or a mix of snow and sleet across Georgia by Sunday morning.

Snow fell across a wide stretch of central Georgia on Sunday, including in cities like Columbus, Macon, Milledgeville, Thomaston, Jackson, Eatonton and Greensboro.

Georgia residents are keeping a close eye on the sky this weekend as a complex weather system threatens to bring snow to the region.

The state’s best chance for snow comes overnight Saturday into Sunday afternoon along a diagonal line from Columbus to Macon to Warrenton, the National Weather Service says.
