After working together for only six months, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray announced Tuesday that they have ended their player-coach relationship. Shortly after his retirement from playing tennis last year, Murray transitioned into coaching and took on his former on-court rival in Djokovic as his first major client.

Novak Djokovic has surprised everyone in the recent period. After the shocking defeats against Alejandro Tabilo in Monte Carlo and Matteo Arnaldi in Madrid, the Serbian legend decided to skip the Rome Masters 1000 leaving everyone speechless (having always played this tournament since 2007).

Novak Djokovic is splitting with coach Andy Murray, just two weeks ahead of the French Open. The decision comes after Djokovic lost his opening match in his last two tournaments, both on clay.
