Los Angeles-based asset management firms are grappling with the impact of the region's destructive wildfires on their operations, with some relocating office space and supporting staff members who have lost their homes.

With the immediate threat of the deadly Palisades and Eaton wildfires over, attention now turns to the seemingly immeasurable cost of the recovery. “This turns into a money story,” says KTLA consumer reporter David Lazarus.
