Gov. Ron DeSantis boasted of Florida's high school graduation rate in early January, which edged to 89.7% in 2024, a slight increase from the 2023 rate at 88%. But at the same time, Leon County's graduation rate dropped from 86.1% in 2023 to 85.1% in 2024.
