Wizards Beyond Waverly Place has been renewed for a second season. The first season of the Wizards of the Waverly Place spin-off came out in October 2024, and the second season has been confirmed.

"Wizards Beyond Waverly Place" star David Henrie said he is "overwhelmed by all the love for the series" as the show is picked up for a second season.

Disney Branded Television, the company’s kids and family division, has renewed Wizards Beyond Waverly Place for a second season. The pickup comes about a month after the sitcom concluded its 21-episode first season. Production on season two is set to begin in April in Los Angeles.
