Friday is a Pinpoint Weather Alert Day for strong winds in the metro and snow in the mountains. However, this storm is nothing compared to the “Pi Day Blizzard” in 2021.

That 89.3 inches, though, is the most Syracuse has seen to this point since 2018. At this point last year, just 31.2 inches of snow had fallen in Syracuse.

Since Dec. 1, the Wausau area has received 31.3 inches of snow. Of the season’s total snowfall, 12 inches fell before February with 5.8 inches falling in December and 6.2 inches in January.
