The parade marshal car is set to be empty for the one-hundred-first Waco Veterans Day Parade in memory of Stan Parker, a beloved organizer of the parade and advocate for veterans.
Spectators at the parade will get a chance to see what is intended to be a new tradition: the "Hometown Heroes" banners on lamp posts around Heritage Square.
