Jennifer Aniston is just as charmed as the rest of us that a relic of her place in pop culture survived the fictional apocalypse in HBO’s “The Last of Us.”

The second season of The Last of Us premiered earlier this month on HBO. The most recent episode featured (spoiler) the brutal death of Pedro Pascal’s Joel at the hand of Kaitlyn Dever’s Abby. Like fans, Pascal is still coming to terms with his departure from the series.

Aniston reacted to the surprising cameo via her Instagram Story on Tuesday, April 22. “Of all the things to survive the apocalypse,” she captioned a screen grab of the moment.
