Less than 24 hours after taking a no-hitter into the seventh inning of his MLB debut, Noah Cameron is on his way back to Triple-A Omaha.

The Kansas City Royals optioned Noah Cameron back to Triple-A Omaha on Thursday, one day after the left-hander took a no-hitter into the seventh inning in his big league debut against the Tampa Bay Rays.

Over two decades ago, a 4-year-old Noah Cameron walked along the warning track at Kauffman Stadium with his mom, Diane, as part of a school field trip. The Royals’ starter that day was a sensational rookie named Zack Greinke,
