Some players argue that Marvel Rivals' Hawkeye's strong abilities need to be nerfed, but there are a few valid points against doing so.

Earlier this week, NetEase said Marvel Rivals season 1 patch would target key heroes for nerfs and buffs, including dominant long-range duelists Hela and Hawkeye. Turns out that was just the tip of the iceberg: the upcoming patch will nerf or buff a total of 24 heroes (over two-thirds of the roster) and adjust several seasonal bonuses.

Leakers say Marvel Rivals is taking some big swings at balancing the game in Season 1, with Hela and Hawkeye in the crosshairs for a nerf.

With the launch of Marvel Rivals Season 1 set for Friday, NetEase is introducing a series of buffs and nerfs to a wide variety of heroes. Many will be happy to know that Hawkeye and Hela will receive balance updates that will reduce their effectiveness.

Reduce the cooldown of Charged Gale from 20s to 15s. Increase the damage of Charged Gale from 50 to 55. Those are all the balance changes in Marvels Rivals Season 1.

Season 1 of Marvel Rivals starts this week and NetEase is making some balancing tweaks to the roster in the update with more on the way in a mid-season update and Season 2.

While Cloak and Dagger have been popular in season zero, they have now been buffed to align better with the likes of Mantis and Luna Snow—especially with a boost to the ultimate ability, which now has four dashes upon use, and increased switch times between each form.
