More than 30,000 votes were cast to name Busch Gardens’ latest rollercoaster in its collection, and the park has settled on The Big Bad Wolf: The Wolf’s Revenge.

The inverted family-friendly roller coaster pays homage to one of the park's old but popular rides, the Big Bad Wolf, which operated from 1984 to 2010.

Last month, Busch Gardens Williamsburg announced that fans could choose the name of its newest roller coaster. The theme park released a poll with three choices.

The Big Bad Wolf name will live on at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. After lots of feedback from fans, Busch Gardens opted to forgo three other name options, WölfSturm, WölfsReign or GeisterWölf, for their newest rollercoaster in favor of The Big Wolf: The Wolf’s Revenge.
