Apple TV+ wasted no time renewing Severance for Season 2, thanks to its immense popularity. But there's one more thing that played an important role.

"Severance" Season 2 premiered Thursday night after a nearly three-year delay from the first season's release. The anticipation is high, and viewers will likely be following each episode closely to unpack the mystery of Lumon and its Severed workers.

Severance season 2 has officially begun and things have never been more mysterious at Lumon. The hit sci-fi show picks up in the wake of that nail-biting season 1 cliffhanger, but it seems we won't be getting any quick answers about what is really going on.

The first episode of Severance Season 2 is now available to stream on Apple TV Plus. There'll be 10 episodes this season, which will be released on a weekly basis -- likely leaving viewers on the edge of their seats in between airings.
