A British father who was due to be on board a doomed Air India plane that crashed last week decided to change flights at the last minute, it emerged. Businessman Owen Jackson, 31, was placed in the same miracle Seat 11A as the sole survivor of the tragedy, Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, 40.

Raveena Tandon took to Instagram to show her faith in Air India, sharing that she recently chose to fly with the airline.

On June 12, the London-bound aircraft crashed into the nearby campus of a medical college in Meghani Nagar area and burst into flames, moments after it took off from the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad.

The cockpit voice recorder (CVR), commonly referred to as one of the two black boxes of the aircraft, has now been recovered from the debris, local media reported. The critical piece of equipment could include pilots' conversations from the cockpit, alarms and background sounds from the moments before the devastating crash.
