“Unfortunately, Google’s YouTube TV has chosen to deny their subscribers the content they value most by refusing to pay fair rates for our channels, including ESPN and ABC,” a Disney spokesperson told Variety Magazine in a report on Oct. 30.
A Disney spokesperson told Deadline the company asked YouTube TV to restore access to ABC for Election Day on Tuesday “so subscribers have access to the information they rely on, adding it would be a “small step for their customers while we continue to work toward a fair agreement.”
