The Cowboys traded for Jets defensive tackle Quinnen Williams and Bengals linebacker Logan Wilson on Tuesday, sending back defensive tackle Mazi Smith and future draft picks. With the extra spot on the roster the Cowboys announced that they’re waiving backup running back Malik Davis.
The Dallas Cowboys had a busy trade deadline day, acquiring two defensive superstars in defensive lineman Quinnen Williams from the New York Jets and linebacker Logan Wilson from the Cincinnati Bengals.
In the Arizona Cardinals ' 27-17 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football, 19 players participated in at least one of the 67 offensive snaps. Six played every snap, while tight end Trey McBride missed eight. One offensive lineman, guard Isaiah Adams, played only on special teams.
The only notable hiccup for the Cardinals came when Pat O'Donnell had a punt blocked in the second quarter, leading to a Cowboys touchdown. Outside of that play, Dallas didn't do much offensively. Ryan Flournoy caught a late touchdown pass, but it only cut the deficit to 10 in the fourth quarter, and Dallas never got closer.
