After the Flyers’ 6-3 win on Saturday against the Edmonton Oilers, the chatter focused on Owen Tippett — and rightfully so. After missing five games due to an upper-body injury suffered Jan. 29, the high-flying winger returned to the lineup and scored a pair of goals before almost adding another.

The Flyers will activate center Ryan Poehling and defenseman Yegor Zamula ... Now in his fifth NHL season, the 24-year-old is averaging a career-high 16:52 per game through 39 appearances.

Poehling (upper body) is available to play Saturday versus the Oilers, indicating he'll be activated from injured reserve prior to the contest.

While the entire hockey world was focused on the stellar 4 Nations Face-Off, NHL teams leaguewide have reconvened in recent days for practice sessions minus the players and coaches who took part in the tournament.

The Flyers announced Friday that forwards Owen Tippett and Ryan Poehling plus defencemen Rasmus Ristolainen and Egor Zamula will all be available to return to the lineup.
