LAFAYETTE, La. − The South is being targeted by a major winter storm, most of the nation remains gripped by brutal cold, and high winds threaten to fan the flames of killer blazes in Southern California on Tuesday as the U.

President Donald Trump issued an executive order changing the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America.

He wants to rename the mountain in south-central Alaska now known as Mount Denali to “Mount McKinley.” The mountain was named after William McKinley, America’s 25th President, for decades. President Barack Obama changed the mountain’s name to “Mount Denali” in 2015.

Another massive winter storm is forecast to pummel the southern and eastern U.S., with impacts from Texas to the Carolinas.
