#Fernand is our sixth named system of the season. It's the only significant tropical weather system to mention early this week. Fernand was born from a non-tropical low in the Atlantic about 500 miles southeast of Bermuda. After showers and storms became better organized with winds above 39 mph, the system became Fernand on Saturday evening.
