KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium is mourning the death of their 36-year-old orangutan, Rufus.
Rufus, a 36-year-old male Bornean orangutan at the Kansas City Zoo, died from a chronic heart condition. He had lived at the zoo since 2003 and was under long-term veterinary care.
