The Wisconsin Badgers and Minnesota Golden Gophers sat tied 3-3 through 59:35 of the WCHA Final Faceoff championship game. With the puck on WCHA Player of the Year Casey O'Brien's stick, she found fifth year forward Sarah Wozniewicz who scored the game winner with only 25 second left in the game.

The Gophers women's hockey team came up just short in a thriller against Wisconsin in the WCHA Final FaceOff title game on Saturday afternoon in Duluth. The Badgers, who haven't lost in over two months, scored with less than 30 seconds left in the third period to seal a 4-3 victory.

The No. 1 Wisconsin women's hockey team defeated Minnesota 4-3 in the WCHA championship game to claim back-to-back titles.
