One person is in custody after a probation officer was burned in central Stockton, officials said Thursday. Stockton police said the scene was in a parking garage in the area of South San Joaquin and East Lafayette streets, a few blocks east of the Lafayette Street exit from the eastbound lanes of the Crosstown Freeway.
