Keith Le Goy, who has been with the studio for more than 25 years, has been named chairman of Sony Pictures TV. He succeeds Ravi Ahuja, who moved up to president and CEO of Sony Pictures Entertainment following the departure of Tony Vinciquerra.

Sony Pictures Entertainment has upped Keith Le Goy to the role of Sony Pictures Television chairman. In his new position, Le Goy, who most recently led the studio’s combined television and home entertainment distribution and marketing businesses,

Le Goy most recently served as Sony Pictures Television’s president of distribution, where he oversaw the studio’s combined television and home entertainment distribution as well as its marketing division. In the role, he also led SPE’s cable networks in Latin America and Europe.

Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) has upped distribution chief Keith Le Goy to become chairman of Sony Pictures Television (SPT). Le Goy will now lead all of SPT’s domestic and international production, including the gameshow business and GSN (Game Show Network).
