The Grateful Dead, or at least its surviving members, will return to San Francisco's Golden Gate Park this summer to commemorate the iconic band's 60th anniversary.

Local officials want to honor the Grateful Dead’s 60th anniversary this year with a trio of Dead & Company concerts at the Polo Field. The proposal, which Mayor Daniel Lurie and The City’s Recreation and Park Department introduced Monday,
