Prince William opened up on the Apple Fitness+ podcast ‘Time to Walk’ about what happens behind closed doors at the royal family’s annual Christmas morning church service at St. Mary Magdalene on the grounds of the Sandringham estate.

News Corp columnist Angela Mollard believes the Royal Family’s Sandringham Christmas walk showed “solidarity” among the members despite a hard year with family tensions and medical diagnoses.

King Charles and Queen Camilla, who have made Christmas morning mass at Sandringham Church an annual tradition, were joined by Prince William, Kate Middleton and their three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Once frowned upon in terms of so-called royal protocol, it seems selfies with the royal family are very much here to stay after Princess Charlotte took one with a fan on Christmas Day at Sandringham.

The British monarchy kept some beloved holiday traditions alive this year, including its annual Christmas Day stroll. In a break from tradition, however, the family's holiday message was delivered from a hospital chapel with King Charles striking a personal note,

Princess Charlotte made the traditional walk to Christmas services at Sandringham, and royal observers were very impressed by how she conducted herself.
