The National Weather Service in State College says scattered showers and thunderstorms across most of Pennsylvania could produce heavy rainfall and isolated flooding. Rain is most likely after 2 p.m. The high temperature for Thursday is supposed to top 75.

An updated flood watch was issued by the NWS Blacksburg VA on Tuesday at 4:32 p.m. in effect until 8 p.m. The watch is for Ashe, Alleghany, Surry, Watauga, Wilkes and Yadkin counties.

On Wednesday at 11:14 a.m. a flood watch was released by the National Weather Service valid between 1 p.m. and 10 p.m. for Somerset and Bedford counties.

A flood advisory was issued by the NWS Raleigh NC on Tuesday at 6 p.m. in effect until 9 p.m. for Wayne County.

The National Weather Service issued a flood advisory at 3:29 a.m. on Monday in effect until 6:30 a.m. for Calhoun, Cherokee, Clay, Cleburne, Etowah, Randolph, St. Clair and Talladega counties.

Flood watches have been issued for seven counties. Dangerous rip currents exist for much of Florida's coastline.

The NWS Wilmington NC released a flood advisory at 10:40 a.m. on Tuesday in effect until further notice for Pender County.
