Protests against President Donald Trump’s administration took place on Saturday in hundreds of cities across the U.S., including several in Seattle and Washington state.

The demonstrations come on the heels of protests flaring up around the country over federal immigration enforcement raids that began last week and Trump ordering National Guard troops and Marines to Los Angeles where protesters blocked a freeway and set cars on fire.

Massive crowds gathered in Cal Anderson Park, aboard a state ferry and at the state Capitol to denounce the hard-line policies of President Donald Trump.

Across the country, relatively few disruptions were reported during protests and marches where the mood ranged from joyful to defiant.
