Grace VanSlooten scored 15 points and led a fourth-quarter charge that lifted No. 23 Michigan State to a 73-58 win over Minnesota

The Spartans trailed 52-48 when Ayrault knocked down the 3 with 7:28 to play to start the surge. Simmons, Theryn Hallock, Hampton and VanSlooten also had big moments during the run as MSU took control after shooting 36% through the first three quarters. Grace Grocholski had a game-high 23 points for Minnesota (20-10, 8-10).

Up until the 4th quarter, neither team could put away the other, but in Michigan State would put together a 14-0 run late in the game to earn them the 73-58 win. Michigan State’s bench outscored Minnesota 29-4 providing the extra push the Spartans needed.
