Ivan Demidov was named the KHL Rookie of the Month. The SKA winger has 10 goals and 16 assists in 36 games. I’ve written about this player before and he keeps getting better and better. According to InStat,

Demidov’s ice time is increasing slowly and that’s another good sign. Again, the KHL can be a good developmental league for young players. It depends on the coach and since the Canadiens have been visiting Demidov. It’s something they’re comfortable with.
