According to a report by Pakistani outlet Geo News, the ICC have reportedly informed the BCCI that they need a written explanation as to why they have refused to travel to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy 2025.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is under tremendous pressure to accept a hybrid model for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 after the Board of Control for Cricket India informed the ICC their decision to not travel to Pakistan.

The tour was scheduled to start on November 16 and would run through November 24, allowing fans to view the prestigious trophy that Pakistan last won in 2017 under the captaincy of Sarfaraz Ahmed.

The Champions Trophy will feature eight teams locking horns for the silverware. The tournament is scheduled to take place in Pakistan next year. However, the official schedule is not out yet.

PCB, on Thursday, announced that the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 trophy tour would be held from November 16, covering the cities -- Skardu, Hunza and Muzaffarabad -- that fall under the PoK region.
