After further evaluation of Corey Seager’s right hamstring strain, the Rangers on Tuesday decided the right approach was to take a step back and wait for his hamstring injury to heal rather than to try to manage it.

Corey Seager was placed on the 10-day injured list again Tuesday by the Rangers after the two-time World Series MVP shortstop had already missed four of their previous five games because of right hamstring soreness.

Ahead of the Texas Rangers' May 13 matchup with the Colorado Rockies, the team made a decision on star shortstop Corey Seager.
