ATLANTA — A significant cold snap will take over as arctic air plunges across north Georgia this weekend. We're issuing a Weather Impact Alert for prolonged sub-freezing temperatures, as well as the possibility for accumulating snowfall on Saturday.
The forecast predicts varied weather in Atlanta, with possible snow showers and fluctuating temperatures including chilly lows and a warming trend into the following week.
We are looking toward the weekend, when snow starts to fall across north Georgia.
