Local emergency agencies say they are monitoring the seismic activity but have not issued any tsunami warnings.

A preliminary magnitude 3.0 earthquake was recorded north of Borrego Springs Wednesday night, according to USGS.

Two earthquakes struck off the Oregon coast on Tuesday, rattling communities along the Pacific Northwest shoreline.

A 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck the east coast of Russia's Kamchatka, the German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ) said on Monday. The quake struck at a shallow depth of 28 km, GFZ further said.
